It’s curtains up for the Toronto Fringe Festival.
After two years online, the city’s largest theater festival is back in person. The 2022 festival — the 34th annual Fringe — offers a smorgasbord of shows spread across 11 venues.
Running from July 6 to 17, this year’s festival circuit includes 88 productions, from sketch comedy shows and new musicals to solo monologues and children’s programming.
Star critics Karen Fricker, Joshua Chong and Aisling Murphy will review some of the best productions at the Fringe. Check back here each day throughout the festival for our critics’ top picks. Each link will take you the show’s full review.
